Damian O’ Grady – Managing Director

With over 21 years in the field of international tourism; from sales and marketing, to meetings and incentives, through to public relations and exhibition management, Damian provides a full complement of skills and experience to the representation sector.

His background incorporates a variety of senior roles in the UK and overseas, including Sales Manager for Suncoast Representation Services FL USA, PR Manager and European Sales and Marketing Manager for the Florida Division of Tourism(Visit Florida).

He established Ignite Sales and Marketing in 1997.

Paul Stanley – Director

Paul has a first class background in tour operating, and began his career overseas in 1986 with Thomson Holidays in Spain, the Caribbean and the Far East. Returning to their Head Office, his roles included National Account Manager responsible for trade relations with several of the UK’s leading retailers.

He brings a wealth of travel industry experience to Ignite having been Commercial Director at Travelscene, Senior Contracts Manager with Gullivers Travel Associates ,and a founding partner and Director of Destinations of The World (Europe).

Don MacIntyre – Director

Don MacIntyre recently joined as a Board Director, he has more than 20 years experience working within the field of PR & Marketing. He began his career in tourism in 1989 after attending Arizona State University in the US. He first worked for Westcor Resorts at their flagship property, “The Buttes” after this he then went on to work for a major Meeting & Incentive firm developing their International business programmes until 1993 when he was offered a position with Destination Marketing Limited to develop their destination & commercial C&I programmes within the UK.

He remained with DML as Managing Director until December 2006. In the 13 years with DML Mr MacIntyre brings unrivalled experience within the tourism marketing field in which he has held positions as a senior marketing consultant to Dorint Hotels and Resorts, American Classic Voyages (Delta Queen Steam Boats & American Hawaii Cruises), The Cities of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh the US states of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, NY State and Kentucky and the government of the US Virgin Islands.

In addition to working within tourism Don also serves as a board Director of mig International Limited a leading marketing agency within the professional sport of polo.
